Volvo R-Design
Volvo Cars' R-design programme is bourne from Volvo's racing heritage and is a sporty factory-fitted option package available on the Volvo C30, S40, S60, V50, V60, V70, XC60 & XC90. R-design is tailor made for customers who want a car with refined attributes.
"The possibility of tailoring one's car to suit personal tastes is becoming increasingly important to car buyers today. R-design has been developed for buyers who want a refined and sporty look for their cars," says Gerry Keaney, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Sales and Customer Service at Volvo Cars.

- Specially tuned sports chassis and sharper driving characteristics
- Uniquely designed larger alloy wheels with low-profile tyres
- Colour matched lower body mouldings (front & rear spoiler and side skirts)
- Door mirror housings in silk metal finish
- Distinctive front grille including R-Design badge
Interior
- Two-tone R-Design embossed leather sports seats for greater cornering support and comfort
- "Watch Dial" instrument panel with blue gauges
- R-Design sports steering wheel
- Aluminium sports pedals and white-piped sports mats
- Unique R-Design centre stack
