Selected Volvo DRIVe models are now Congestion Charge Exempt!

We are extremely pleased to announce a great success for Volvo’s Emissions Equality Campaign following Mayor of London Boris Johnson’s Congestion Charge review.
Transport for London has confirmed a 100% Greener Vehicle Discount will be available to all sub-100g/km Euro 5 vehicles from 4th January 2011, allowing them to enter the Congestion Charge zone free of charge.
Volvo’s current range includes three 99g/km CO2 models – the C30, S40 and V50 DRIVe. All of which will be Congestion Charge free under the revision, which will save drivers up to £2,500 per year.
Volvo customers can register for the Greener Vehicle Discount from 4th January, subject to a £10 annual payment per vehicle, provided it is one of the models mentioned above which meet the sub-100g/km Euro 5 vehicle criteria.
